Palmela 2011 Tutorials

A special hands–on tutorials program has been scheduled to take place during the conference. It will provide training in photographing and producing digital panoramas for beginners to intermediate.

VR professionals coordinated by Pat Swovelin from Los Angeles will lead small groups in short photo sessions and conducting hands–on computer classes with step–by–step techniques to produce and deliver great VR photography images. Vendors will be on hand to assist with hardware and software, they may provide evaluation units for trial, as well as items for sale at a special show discount.

Each individual must provide their own camera equipment and laptop computer, there will be Wi-Fi available throughout the conference area for people who need to download files. The Tutorials Coordinator can be contacted before the conference for advice on equipment, software and pre–tutorial preparation.

Space in the tutorials will be limited so advance registration is required.

      Thanks for the comment.
Stereoscopic panorama creation is certainly a hot topic and will surely be included in the Palmela 2011 – The Conference program.
We are currently working with Pat Swovelin on the Tutorials planning and I am not sure this topic can be included in the Tutorials program.
All I can say at this point is that we will cover this topic in the main Conference program.

We are hard at work preparing the Tutorials and Conference program, so stay tunes for more detailed news in the days ahead.
