Andrew Bodrov – Capturing panoramas using a monopod

The Palmela 2011 Organization is pleased to announce Andrew Bodrov as conference speaker:

Andrew Bodrov
Born 1965 in Kustanay city, Kazakhstan (USSR).

Currently resides in Tallinn, Estonia (EU).

 

  • Studied communication devices engineering at the Tomsk High School of Communication, Russia
  • Works as a IT specialist since 1992. Has been shooting panoramas since 2000.
  • Published first version of the Digital Tallinn project in 2001.
  • Published Digital Egypt project in 2006.
  • Published the 9th May, Red Square, Moscow project in 2010.

Andrew Bodrov will talk about his experience capturing panoramas using a monopod. Andrew will also cover in detail how he got access to Red Square and shot a panorama within a 3 meters of the Presidents of various countries who attended a military parade on May 9, 2010 (Moscow, Russia).
